Tiny Todd...now known as Tubby Toddy.A lot of you might remember little Todd but you probably won't recognise him from the photo oppposite. Todd hated kennels and got very stressed, we fostered him at home temperarily and just managed to find him a home in time. He was a happy little soul who was brought in after a kind man removed him from some junkies. He was thin and had no training or socialising skills. He soon learnt to play with other dogs though and loved people.

HERE ARE SOME OF OUR SUCCESS STORIES:

Todd is so happy in his new home on the farm. He lives with a loving family and loves his two 'sisters'.

His really was a success story and we are so glad that we eventually found him a brilliant home!

This funny boy is Bob. Bob came to us just 5 months old, but he was very big pup. We were worried he might not find a home because his paws were huge! Luckily Bob did find a lovely family home where he is spoilt rotten. There were a few teething problems with the cat to begin with but all is well at Bob's now. :)

Joslin & Lawson

These two were very longterm with us. After being found as strays they came to us and spent in total 18 months in kennels. It wasn't too bad because they loved frolicking in the runs and we believe they were gypsy dogs at some point so they probably hadn't lived in a home before.

If given the choice of being inside or out they always chose out. They became very loved and such different and quirky characters that complimeneted each other so well but they were still with us.

In July 2006 a lovely couple came up to support us on our Open Day to raise money for the rescue dogs. They walked Joslin and Lawson and loved them but didn't think they were in a position to offer them a home. We corresponded for a while via email, and finally disccussed any hang ups they might have. It actually turned out that for this particular pair their lifestyle would be perfect!

So they went to work. They dogproofefd the garden and cleared out the wooden house in the garden. They decorated and made it like a second home since they knew about Joslin and Lawson's outdoor fetish. :)

Finally they went home! Now a year on they still love the garden but prefer to cuddle up on the sofa!

Hello!

These little bundles of fun were actually born here with us in September 07. They were all successfully rehomed in December, unfortunately mum (Tia) is still with us after all that time!

This is Peggy! Some of you might remember Peggy, she got a mention in The Independent newspaper in July 07 but because of her age and looks didn't find a home. Finally at the end of last year a lovely couple came and met Peggs. A few people had met her but been put off by her looks but this couple immediately fell for her and within days she was in her new home. It really was a god send, we thought Peggy might have to spend the rest of her days in kennels.

She has settled really well and enjoys her walks and cuddles.  She has taken over the sofa but at her age who can blame her! She is a very well behaved lady but has a sudden burst of energy when her parents come home because she is so happy to see them, ah bless her!
